Situated in the Spiti River at an elevation of about 12, 500 feet, Spiti valley is surrounded by extremely high mountain ranges. Tentative Schedule

  • Day 01 : Delhi to Shoghi

    On the first day of your trip to Spiti, your first stop will be in Shoghi which is 330 kilometres away from Delhi located at an elevation of 5,700 ft in the state of Himachal Pradesh. The drive will be 6 hours long. After reaching our first stop, you will get the opportunity to enjoy your time in ‘Chadwick falls’ a well-known tourist attraction in Shoghi if you wish to. It is located at an altitude of 1550 m above the sea level and is situated amidst misty slopes and the Glen woodlands.

  • Day 02 : Shoghi to Narkanda

    After staying in Shoghi for the night, we will drive to our next destination, Narkanda. Situated at an altitude of 2708 metres on the Hindustan Tibet road, Narkanda is a delightful town lying 60 km ahead of the capital of Himachal, ‘Shimla’. Since Narkanda is 75 kilometres away from Shoghi, the drive will take longer than two hours. Once we reach Narkanda, everyone will have the freedom to go wherever they wish to. Some of the popular tourist spots in Narkanda are Hatu Peak, Hatu Mata temple and Tanni Jubbar lake for those people who wish to explore the town.

  • Day 03 : Narkanda to Sangla

    Our next stop will be at Sangla, which is located about 160 kilometres away from Narkanda. The drive will be more than 4 hours long. Located in the Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh, Sangla valley is known as one of the most exquisite and bewitching valleys in our country. Once we reach the destination, you are welcome to spend as much time as you like exploring the beautiful Sangla Valley. Sangla meadow, Kangru fort and Baspa River are some of the many picturesque tourist spots where you can spend some time.

  • Day 04 : Sangla to Shichling

    We will leave Sangla today at the crack of dawn. The next destination is Shichling which is 212 kms and 06 hours drive away but the drive from Sangla to Shichling may take longer as there are a number of interesting sites to explore during today’s drive including Nako Lake, Tabo Monastery, Tabo Caves and Dhankar Monastery and many breathtaking view points. We will spend rest of the day at Shichling exploring the village and admiring the beauty of the place.

  • Day 05 : Shichling to Kaza

    Our next stop will be Kaza which will be only 23 kilometres away from Shichling. Kaza is situated along the Spiti River at an elevation of 11, 980 ft above the sea level. Known as the largest commercial centre in Spiti, Kaza is blessed with captivating snow-capped mountains and shimmering streams which makes it a place which must be visited at least once in a lifetime.

  • Day 06 : Kaza

    We will be spending the entire day exploring all the popular tourist spots in Kaza. In the morning we will pay a visit to the ‘Sakya Tangyud monastery’ which is one of the highest altitude monasteries at an altitude of 14,830 ft. Other interesting places to visit in and around Kaza are the highest post office at Hikkim, the stunning statue of Buddha at Langza, Beautiful Key Monastery and the highest village of Komic.

  • Day 07 : Drive to Chandratal Lake via Kunzum Pass

    We will be driving to Chandratal Lake in the morning via Kunzum Pass covering the distance of 21.3 kilometres within an hour. Chandratal Lake is popularly known as one of the most beautiful lakes located at an altitude of 4,300 metres in the Himalayas. We will be spending our entire day relaxing and exploring the destination.

  • Day 08 : Drive to Manali / Keylong via Rohtang Pass

    We will be driving to Manali / Keylong via Rohtang pass on the eighth day covering the distance of 110 kilometres within approximately 3 hours. After reaching the destination, we will spend the entire day exploring the beauty of nearby places. In Manali, all the shopaholics who would like to shop till they drop will be taken to the immensely popular, ‘Mall road’ where they can shop as much and for as long as they want. Night stay will be either at Manali or Keylong.

  • Day 09 : Drive to Delhi / Join our group to Ladakh

    After an exciting one week trip to the gorgeous Spiti Valley, today is time to return home from Manali or continue the next leg of the driving adventure to Ladakh from Keylong.
