  • Day 1 : Chicago

We will start our journey from Chicago. Your first day will be spent here relaxing and enjoying your time in leisure at the pre-booked hotel. By the evening, we will have a group meeting to give you a brief on the upcoming trip to Route 66 and everything that you need to know. Lastly, enjoy the scrumptious complimentary dinner and snuggle in bed to rejuvenate for the next day trip.

  • Day 2: Chicago

Morning in Chicago is going to be a little lazy with breakfast, strolling, and relaxing! The fun will kickstart in the afternoon when I will take you to the iconic landmarks of the city like Millenium Park and the Amazing Cloud Gate (The Bean). We will also take you to the breathtaking Magnificent Mile, where you can halt for some shopping or just to grab a drink of coffee. By the evening you can just unwind yourself with some music and lastly wrap up the day with a delicious dinner at a local diner.

  • Day 3: Chicago - St. Louis

Hello there! Today is the day to hit historic Route 66—the lifeline of this whole trip. First we will rent a car and then heat up the engine to take you through the gorgeous, majestic, oldest, and peculiar sites of the country. We will start our iconic journey on Route 66's east-west route from Chicago to St. Louis, Missouri, which winds over flat grasslands and endless cornfields. Also, you need to make sure not to miss Atlanta's Bunyan Giant, a 19-foot statue of Paul Bunyan clutching a gigantic hot dog, and Wilmington's most photographed "citizen," the enormous green Gemini Giant. In Springfield, you must stop by the Cost drive. It is celebrated for introducing corn dogs to the world. Also, explore Abraham Lincoln's home to relive his legacy. Upon reaching St. Louis, make sure not to miss the iconic sites like the Gateway Arch, the nation’s tallest monument; Lemp haunted neighbourhood; Chaco culture; and many more.

  • Day 4: St. Louis - Springfield

Today we will move along the Ozark Highlands of southern Missouri to Springfield, also known as the Route 66 origin place. On this path, make sure to witness the Meramec Caverns, the magnificent limestone caves with exotic colour and marvellous beauty. Another fascinating fact about these caves is that Meramec Caverns in Missouri are reputed to have served as a hiding place for Jesse James and his group in the 1870s.

  • Day 5: Springfield – Tulsa – Oklahoma City

¡Buen día! Today we will take our path to the southeastern corner of Kansas on your way to Oklahoma City. Oklahoma Route 66 has the lanes as flat as a pancake to drive. It also incorporates the original 9-foot road segment that served Oklahoman families headed west in search of better opportunities during the 1930s. Along the path, make sure to indulge in the beauty of the 20-foot-tall cement Blue Whale in Catoosa. The Cyrus Avery Route 66 Memorial Bridge in Tulsa commemorates the memories and ties to the historic highway of the "Father of Route 66.” Also, make sure to check out other iconic sites like vintage buildings, petrol pumps, and more.

  • Day 6: Oklahoma City - Amarillo

Today you have to set out to Amarillo, nestled in unimpeded plains. This plain once housed rich grassland with buffaloes and was ensconced in by bands of Kiowa and Comanche Indians. En route, visit the museum in Clinton to experience the rich history of Route 65, spanning from the last 6 decades. Also, stop by the U Drop In cafe, a once-booming business, and also visit the restored Phillips 66 gas station in McLean and in Groom the leaning water tower and a 150-foot tall stainless steel cross. Your last stop will be Big Texas Steak Ranch, where you might take the 72 oz steak challenge, but only if you love your meat!

  • Day 7: Amarillo–Albuquerque

Prior to leaving Amarillo, make sure to visit the Cadillac Ranch, with 10 unique, colourfully painted Cadillac cars buried first in the ground. Your next stop is going to be MidPoint Café in Adrian, famous for its “ugly crust” pies. Now set out to Albuquerque, New Mexico, to add a new sprinkle of fun and adventure to this Route 66 trip.

  • Day 8: Albuquerque – Holbrook

With an endless display of trading posts, the state of Arizona has some picturesque views to offer. It has the huge concrete tapestries standing on the brilliant red-rock mesas, followed by the lush green national park system that lets the historical Route 66 pass through it. Unveiling the 13,000-year-long human history, it has the colourful assemblies of fossilised coppice, chronicled structures, and archaeological sites. Witness the mesmerising beauty of Kachina Point at sunset and move forward to Holbrook. Wrap up your day by staying at Wigwam Motel, which has been welcoming guests since 1950.

  • Day 9: Holbrook – Flagstaff – Williams

Along this section of Route 66, go on to Meteor City, a real historic trade town whose characteristic dome is visible for miles. Stop in Flagstaff, a charming college town encircled by expansive tracts of Ponderosa Pine forest and a number of national monuments, including Wupatki, Sunset Crater Volcano, and Walnut Canyon. Before you head to Williams for the night, spend some time exploring the expansive open areas or stopping at the 127-year-old Lowell Observatory, the home of Pluto, for a look at the red rock canyons and towering peaks (Mt. Humphreys is 12,635 feet/3,852 meters).

  • Day 10: Williams – Grand Canyon - Williams

Nobody can believe in the grandeur and beauty of the Grand Canyon carved by the Colorado River, and that is what you are going to explore today! Also, you will see the gorgeous South Rim and walk through the magical rim as well as historic Hermit Road to appreciate this natural marvel. Make sure to stop by the Photo Hot Spot or climb to the top of a stone watchtower for a panoramic sight that soothes your eyes and soul.

  • Day 11: Williams – Las Vegas

Head west on the longest continuous stretch of Route 66 to Seligman, the first stop, leaving the town of Williams and the Grand Canyon behind. Proceed through Kingman, where historic Route 66 motels and cafés are still thriving, to Hoover Dam, one of Arizona's best-kept secrets. Hoover Dam, which spans the powerful Colorado River, which separates Nevada and Arizona and provides much-needed water and electricity to the Southwest, is regarded as the biggest public works project in American history. Proceed to Nevada's Las Vegas, a city that requires no introduction.

  • Day 12: Las Vegas

Savour a full day in the vein of Las Vegas. Explore the well-known Strip, which is bordered with mega-resorts and neon lights; wager at one of the numerous casinos; eat at top-notch restaurants; see the newest must-see performance; shop at designer boutiques; ride a rollercoaster; relax by the pool; and so on.

  • Day 13: Las Vegas

Why spend your day leisurely? Take a trip to Red Rock Canyon, Zion National Park, the Neon Museum, the Fountains of Bellagio, or the Mob Museum.

  • Day 14: Las Vegas – Santa Monica/Los Angeles

Good morning! Buckle up quickly, as today's ride will take you through the Mojave Desert—Calico Ghost Town, the oldest mining camp of the Old West, known for its silver mines. Next drive to Barstow—here you will find the historical photographs and artefacts related to Route 66 and the Mojave Desert community showcased at the Route 66 “mother road” museum. Drive through Pasadena, Los Angeles, West Hollywood, and Beverly Hills to Santa Monica for a true Hollywood conclusion to your country trip. Walk on foot from here to explore “End of the Trail” at Santa Monica Pier, telling you to bid adieu to this adventurous trip.

  • Day 15: Los Angeles/Santa Monica

Spend the day exploring the nearby indoor and outdoor stores at Third Street Promenade or taking a stroll along Santa Monica's beaches. Or continue exploring L.A.'s unique locations, famous people's playgrounds, and architectural treasures. The original Disneyland Park in Anaheim and Universal Studios Hollywood are also conveniently close by.

  • Day 16: Los Angeles

Today we will wrap up our trip by returning the rental car to its owner. After that you have to pack up your bag, but this time with indelible memories and some insanely gorgeous souvenirs, and catch your flight back to your nestle from Los Angeles Airport.
