Driving Adventures in Mongolia
Mongolia, a country recognised for warriors, nomadic tribes, ages old traditions and culture and festivities that leave you exhilarated, I have organised a self drive tour package for you. Witness Mongolia's huge and stunning scenery! You will go through the center of Mongolian culture, historic monasteries, and stunning desserts. Being able to drive your own car will allow you to get to know the locals, connect with the land, and take your time taking in Mongolia's breathtaking scenery.
So, buckle up to explore the rolling steppes, ancient sites, monasteries, festivals and many more that are going to fill your scrapbook with lots of memories to revisit.

Day 1: Arrive in Ulaanbaatar
Hello there! Finally you are here! Yes, at your dream destination, to set out on a trip that will leave you with a memorable experience. As soon as you land at Ulaanbaatar, I will drop you off at your pre-booked accommodation to relax and rejuvenate. By afternoon you can step out to explore the lanes of Mongolia’s heart and soak yourself in the local vibes. In the evening I will set a meet up with your fellow tourists to brief you about the upcoming trip, so hold on tight!

Day 2: Naadam Festival
Öglöönii mend! Today is all about celebration! yes you heard it right. Naadam Festival - a five day long festival celebrates the history of pastoral culture of Mongolia. Celebrated all across the nation, you will witness the spectacular event of wrestling, archery, and horse racing. Be a part of this celebration and adorn yourself in the colorful local attire - del, and enjoy delicacies like - Buuz, Bansh & Tsuivan – Stir fried noodles.

Day 3: Drive to Baga Gazryn Chuluu
Today is the day when you will step out of your comfort zone. I will take you on this self drive adventure to experience the true essence of the pastoral life of Mongolians. In the midst of the expansive steppes is the magnificent granite formation known as Baga Gazryn Chuluu. As you travel across Mongolia's stunning countryside, you'll come across rocky terrain, traditional gers (yurts), and an unending horizon. We will halt here and step out to explore this magnificent stone formation - commonly known as the “the home of the spirit.” You will have a thrilling yet peaceful experience here.

Day 4: Baga Gazryn Chuluu to Yol Valley
What's more thrilling than a valley and national park, unveiling some of the exotic creations of nature? Well, nothing, that's why I will let you experience this magic today. Today you will drive to Yol Valley, located within the Gobi Gurvansaikhan National Park. This breathtaking valley is well-known for its dramatic scenery, cold streams, and steep gorges. Watch for fauna like vultures, ibex, and wild sheep as we pass past. Today, we will spend our night camping and watching the stars telling their tales.

Day 5: Yol Valley to Gobi Desert
Have you ever wondered what endless wandering looks like? Like the time when you don't know what you encounter at the next turn or when it comes to an end? The Gobi desert gives you the same feeling. The demographics being dramatic with sand dunes, barren mountain and gigantic stone formation, you will find endless spots to explore while driving. Also, I will take you to enjoy the authentic vibes of the nomadic life and hospitality by staying with the dwellers in the desert.

Day 6: Full-Day Desert Experience
Gobi desert is not a place but a destination full of charm, unique features and mysteries to discover. Your day will start with a journey to Khongoryn Els, also referred to as the Singing dune - why? Well, you can hear an eerie music coming from the dunes wherever the wind flows. I will take you to hike the dunes as it offers the ethereal beauty to witness. You can even enjoy the camel rides and let the serenity seep through your being. Our evening will be more fun doing camping and singing around the bonfire.

Day 7: Gobi Desert to Ongiin Monastery
We'll travel in the direction of the Ongiin Monastery, an old and important location, following a desert sunrise. Once a bustling hub of spiritual activity, the monastery today serves as a serene and moving reflection of Mongolia's Buddhist past. You will discover more about the monastery's intriguing history and significance to Mongolian culture as we investigate the remains. After that, we'll savor a traditional Mongolian supper and consider what happened during the day.

Day 8: Ongiin to Kharkhorin
Heard a lot about Genghis Khan and his legacy? Well, today I will take you to Kharkhorin, once the capital of Genghis Khan, this place will take you through a row of mountains, pristine river flowing by and lush green valleys singing the song of life! After that I will take you to visit the Erdene Zuu Monastery- the very first of all the monasteries and was established in the 16th century, and let you experience how it helped in the evolution of the Mongolian empire. There are other stupas, and monasteries that you can explore here.

Day 9: Kharkhorin Sightseeing
Museums are like a gem house preserving the history and culture from the past with evidence that can help you transcend in time. Today I will take you to the Kharkhorin Museum that will let you walk through the rich Mongolian history along with the legacy of Genghis Khan. Next I will take you on a trip to visit the local shops and market place, ancient ruins, and riverside & where you can shop, explore and dip yourself in the pristine water. Make sure to go on souvenirs shopping and many more before you move to your next stop.

Day 10: Kharkhorin to Ulaanbaatar
Though the voyage is far from over, we are starting our journey back to Ulaanbaatar today. We'll pause at a few picturesque locations for pictures, conversations with locals, and leisure. You'll have some free time to explore Ulaanbaatar after we get there. Maybe you'll go to Sukhbaatar Square or unwind at one of the well-known cafes in the city. We'll commemorate the conclusion of our amazing tour with a farewell meal in the evening.

Day 11: Departure
Here comes the last day of this adventurous trip. You need to enjoy your breakfast to the fullest as this will be a farewell breakfast in Mongolia. After that I will see you off but with endless memories of this awe inspiring trip to Mongolian wilderness, culture, and festivities.
